What happens
if my appeal is late?
You
have 28 days, from issue of the Notice of Rejection, to
appeal.
If
you wish to appeal, but your appeal falls outside the 28
day appeal period, you can still submit it, but you must
state why the appeal is late.
The
Adjudicator will first consider your reasons for the
late appeal and decide whether to extend the time for
lodging your appeal.
If
your application to extend the appeal period is
successful, your appeal will then be listed for hearing
at the next available Tribunal sitting.
If
your appeal is unsuccessful, you will be notified
accordingly and you should pay the fine immediately as
further enforcement will ensue.
